Conus (Conolithus) farisi (Abbass, 1977)

 

 

Description:

 

Shell small, fusiform; spire conical, consisting of five to six whorls; whole outline shows median carina on either side of which the surface becomes either concave or almost straight; suture deep, linear; surface almost smooth; body whorl conical, higher than spire with posterior shoulder; surface smooth, with anterior seven to ten spiral cords separated by narrower interspaces (1).

Description of Conus farisi also fits perfectly Conus canaliculatus and Conus brezinae.
